Zahid Khalid has been a leader in the finance and technology industry for more than two decades. He is currently executive vice president and chief financial officer for Great Lakes Medical Billing and Practice Management, one of the nation’s leading medical practice management firms. In his executive role with the company, Mr. Khalid is responsible for overseeing the firm’s financial and legal aspects, as well as handling strategic planning, business development, and acquisitions.

Mr. Khalid earned his electrical engineering degree from the University of Oklahoma before going on to complete an MBA in finance at the University of Dallas. He is a prominent member of several professional organizations, including the Association for Financial Professionals, the International Association of Accounts Payable Professionals, and the Worldwide Institute of Software Architects. During his 20-year career in the industry, Mr. Khalid has earned a reputation for being a motivated, innovative executive with an expertise in merging financial department with other units of a company. He credits his success in the field with his willingness to embrace change.
